I’m paranoid about this blowing up thing you guys talk about, the 67 is old school
So I’m looking forward to installing
Thoughts on sniffer locations??

Lower is better.  Is the sniffer waterproof/resistant?  Apologies for nothing more specific...

Read the instructions online
Says locate just above slosh line in bilge
Keep away from manifold
Place approximately at starter level

Replace sensor every 3-4 years due to harsh marine environments

Sounds like it might get wet ?
I’m actually looking forward to this gadget

How about to the inside of the motor box at the appropriate height...?

I like that too. Maybe on rear hinge bolt adjacent starter. I’d like to put on existing bolt
The instrument is round 2” like a regular gauge, should fit in empty hole in cluster
No new drill holes and will blend in
I saw several boats at ACBS had them
68 dB alarm
I have blower but not going to use auto on feature
