The fitting on the carb spacer and the PCV valve don't match-the PCV valve being smaller. Is there a special hose for this, or just heat/stretch/force? Thanks

Stretch.  You don’t want air leaks.  Nothing super special about PCV hose.

I think if you measure the fitting on the PCV valve you'll figure out that a 3/8 ID hose is a good fit and if you measure the fitting on the spacer, it's slightly tapered and about 9/16 of an inch.

That's a lot of streeeetching for that poor 3/8 hose.Wink

PCM had a part number for that hose. It's R045050. It comes with different ID ends.

I have no idea if it's still available these days.

I've used a 9/16 ID gas/oil hose that can clamp over the 9/16 fitting on the spacer and then with multiple sizes of heat shrink tubing, built up the fitting on the PCV so the hose slid over it and could be clamped on.

No stretching needed

Chances are it's not a PCM part anyway but in fact supplied by Ford. I had the same problem when looking for a replacement hose for my HM. Did my homework and found one here that worked-  http://www.cjponyparts.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=289+pcv+hose" rel="nofollow - http://www.cjponyparts.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=289+pcv+hose
