I had planned on going until the forecast predicted high of 40*, but thought I might go anyway if it was super smooth.  Day started out windy so I thought I was off the hook but then it smoothed out pretty nicely, even better than this picture later in the day so I was tempted.  But its a fuss and takes time to get the boat launched, subject some friends to the cold, put the boat back, reprep it for cold....., so I passed.

After my last outing when I froze to death and nearly drowned because of a catastrophic split up by the zipper, I think I got it fixed....I hope.  Havent tested it yet.  We will see.

Well, probably not this winter, but next summer, you will definitely be on the invite list when the course is deployed, Art. Maybe we can even get you an official team shirt.

Actually, got a new binding for my ski for Christmas, so I am slowly entering the 21st century, gear-wise.
