Hello, I am installing a heater in a boat with a 502 Python. I was just curious if anyone has a 502 Python with a heater installed in the boat? I am looking for how the heater raw water lines are attached to the engine?

Is your python raw water cooled?
I think you have a knock sensor on one side of the block and not the other? return fitting.
T off a pressure side line after the thermostat. 
If you have fresh water cooled same idea only reminder you have make sure and purge the cooling system.
Make sure and utilize brass fittings and not pvc.
