Dear Community,

Our little ski and wake board school have been put in a difficult situation, 2 weeks ago, stupid teenagers broke our boat.
Our 1996 SN was in mint condition and well maintained and is now of the water therefore the summer camps have been cancelled.
My mates and I were able to repair most of the boat, but still need to find port and starboard windshield glasses.
This boat is the only boat that we have and provide full of happiness to the kids and members.

By any chance, does someone could help us find the needed glasses?

Thank you for your understanding and assistance
Peter

Peter,
Sorry to hear that. From what I hear on these forums it is very hard to find a windsheild and when people do the shipping is very expensive.
I had to replace part of a spit windshield on a lund fishing boat years ago that was no longer available anywhere. I believe i used Lexan. I started by making a template out of some very thin cheap plastic. Then went to thicker finished product (would still bend to form the curves) and kept trimming till it fit. When finished it was hard to tell it was not original glass.
Im sure others will chime in here.
Did they catch the Brigans? Cry

Unfortunately we did not catch them

Thank you for your assistance, I will check the link and continue to check online...

This boat is the only option , it is serving really well for beginners and our associations do not have funds for a boat change...

best

Peter

Very upsetting in light of all the crap going on in the world right now.  Very sorry this happened to y'all.

I think I would pull the windshield frame off and get some motorcycle goggles and keep the campers skiing.

Don't let the vandals win this one!

The boats I learned to ski behind on the Colorado River did not have windshields anyway.

I think @rebelskier has the right idea! Sorry to hear about the vandalism, what a shame.
