Starting a thread for my 1970 Skier. Its taken a few years but I've finally decided to tear everything apart and replace the stringer / overhaul engine. Goal is to have the boat looking similar to what it looked like coming out of the factory.. upholstery, side panels, flooring etc.

I have original Chrysler Slant 6 225cu which is completely torn apart except for the crank, which I recently learned was rebuild by the PO in the late nineties after the engine "threw a rod." I will be sending head out for a valve job and have the cam refinished. New timing chain etc. Would like to have the engine in show room condition by the end of this..

Started tear down of the boat today.. will be uploading pics of the process as I go.
