Hello everybody

An year ago, Ive replaced fuel pump (PTI RA080022) with an new one from Skidim.
First year it was working smoothly, but this summer, Ive noticed,  high pitch sound coming from it.
It works fine at the beginning, but after an hour or something, high pitch sound  starts to come.
Do you have any idea what can be the reason..?

Many thanks

Check your in line fuel filter and low pressure pump for blockage. The whining can be a sign of fuel starvation.

Does the boat run good while the pump is whining or does it have running issues?

Apparently, the sound comes from LP pump. It was running smoothly all day yesterday. But, by end of the they noise started come out. I mistakenly, thought it was HP, but today, Ive made a proper check and lost the power during the ride. its definitely LP pump. I even examined it by hand to make sure the sound comes from it and it was oily underneath. Going to remove and take to the specialist.
Found replacement here  :

Hope they will have it in stock.

One more thing:
Recently, I had to clear the tank, because Ive noticed small black things in there. When I removed sending unit, the rubber which is under it ( dunno how you call it :)) the black one was torn apart. Just removed it and put the sending unit back.
I keep at list 20l ( 5gal) of gas as a minimum level in the tank. Is it that critical..? This thing..? :))))

There's an internal screen in that LP pump that might need some cleaning and after that it might sound normal.

It's worth a check

You'll be OK without the rubber doughnut.
