When I went to change my impeller yesterday, some fins were missing and it also was very tight.......could not turn the pump with my hand while a$$embled with the belt off.

I ordered an impeller from SkiDim for my GT-40 and noticed that it had a #5 stamped on it, and my old impeller had a #4 stamped on it. I put the #5 in and it seemed to fit better, and I could turn the pump by hand.

Is this o.k. ? or should I get a super tight fitting #4 .......... does anyone know the correct size ?

Thanks in advance

SKIDIM part #0712 is the right one for all 351's. Maybe the old one wasnt correct. I have no idea about any stamped # on the part, my spare is in the boat 200 miles away... Maybe someone else can chip in with more info.
