Hey guys, The Humminbird depth finder screen on the 99 SN is crazed/milky.  It's position is on the dash maybe where a clock once was but don't know for sure as I'm not the original owner. It works fine but if you wanna know what depth you're at, ya gotta tilt your head to the right angle of the dangle to read it. Shading the sun from directly on the display usually helps and of course at night you can read it fine but it's something I'd like to remedy. Has anyone tried toothpaste, buffing compound or whatever to bring the screen back to life? A call to Humminbird HQ was no help as they said "yeah, it happens so you may just have to buy a new one."  Any of y'all ever have this issue and if so what was the fix??
