Got a Genuine Sherwood G20 RWP with a significant wobble fore/aft so clearly something has to be done. Rebuild kits are $75 or less and DJ ready to install pumps are $210.

After reading prior posts, it seems that rebuilding one is no easy thing and maybe not the best idea for a novice. Couldn't find a step by step guide anywhere. What's involved in a rebuild.?

Here's a link to an old thread that also has a link or 2 in it to other threads

After reading them, then you can decide if you want to spend the money on parts or get the new pump and slap it on  Wink

That's the thread I was looking at, but can't access the links from a phone. I was hoping you'd reveal some ancient Chinese secret on the simplicity of it, but alas have to concede that it's not so. Not sure I have the appetite for a rebuild, so I think the barter route is next.

Like you said, just barter with somebody.............you give them 210 bucks, they ship you a pump Wink

Ken brings up a good point, if you go with Sherwood prices your talking over 100 for parts alone then you have to have someone do it if you don't have the tools so 210 does not look so bad
