Morning!
Looking for some
Expert advice!
1990 ski nautique with a carb 351.
I have what I think is a air leak in the throttle cable that is causing a rough idle, stalling and inconsistent acceleration.
I can hear air hissing near where the metal section is close to the carb linkage.
Any thoughts on how to address that his? I would like to just try and get the boat through the next few weekends then do a more extensive tune up this fall.
Thanks!

The Holley carbs are known to develop wear on the throttle shaft that can lead to an air leak.  This is a YouTube video showing a repair to a Holley 4160 throttle shaft:

How about a leak at the base gasket, it's a lot more likely than a leak on the throttle shaft?
