No swap. I found a pair on ebay from a 351 and my mustang has the 302.Actually I have two 1977 302 mustangs(both in need of considerable work.)The one that needs the manifold is usable until the other is ready. I'll try to post some pictures if I can figure it out. Farmer

boat dr...What kind of "HP" are you getting out of that stroker motor of yours????

MM,dont have a dyno in my shop, but did a lot of research before the build.Found a good info channel at Ford Racing(Ray) that spoon fed me all the way thru the build and used the knowledge that FoMoCo has obtained.HP is a word that gets thrown around a whole lot, this was not what i was after,i pulla 26' parasail and i needed GRUNT,conservative numbers from Ray gave me 350 hp @5000 rpm's but torque was the real boost and reason for the 331, 400 lb.ft.
then came the issues of propping this monster,13x14 w .090 double cup,Austrel prop. WOT now is at 5250.Right in the ball park for this little stroker, could get some more rpm's by swapping the 450 cfm for the 750 that is laying on the bench, but 2.00 gal.stops the swap........... boat dr

MM ,63cc,GT 40 heads, these with the flat tops give me a c/r of 9.5/1 so i dont have to run premium.even with 28 total advance.....................boat dr

I believe the '92 manifolds on ebay came from JR_VIC's boat that now has the Hi-tek headers.

Speaking of which- where are we on getting a few sets of those, Boat Dr? Do we still need a 3rd? MM should be up for it!

Boat Dr, that time frame works perfect for me. Lets find a 3rd and lock it up.

Boat Dr, that 351 has GT40 heads. My bad. Are they still the same manifolds as are on my 302?

Farmer, yes the manifolds are the same, the engines are basicly the same also, same length but because of the deck height they,351,are a little wider and a tad taller. the manifolds will fit...............boat dr

Tim and the Good Doctor,
If you're talking about needing a 3rd buyer for some of the Hi-Tek exhausts, count me in, no question. Thanks.

Excellent.

Reid- we do in fact need a 3rd buyer to get a few sets from Australia at a slightly discounted price. I a$$ume youve read a little bit about the Hiteks here. They sure arent cheap, but they appear to be the real deal.

Boat Dr- looks like we're in good shape for an early spring order?

Tim and Doc,
Please continue to count me in on the Hi-Tek manifold order if it's still in the works. If so, just let me know who and how to pay.
Thanks.

Will do, Reid. Doc has spoken to Allen from Hitek most recently, and is the one who will be orchestrating this mini group-buy. Judging from Doc's comment above, March-April is the expected timeframe which should coincide with the fall season down under. Not sure if payment will be handled by the Boat Dr or if we will pay Hi Tek directly. What do you think, Dr?

Lads,
If it is any help to you guys, I could drop in to Hi Tek and check out these manifolds.

They are located on our sunny Gold Coast, which is only 45mins from me, plus my brother in law lives down there and we visit regularly, so it wouldn't be a problem.

Just an offer for you blokes. They are out of my price range, but I'm happy to have a look anyway.

Let me know.
