"In Minnesota, where a water skier in a wetsuit was recently seen on the Mississippi River near St. Paul, ice fishing tournaments have been canceled. The U.S. Pond Hockey Championships _ scheduled for Jan. 19- 21 in Minneapolis _ have only a 50-50 chance of being held."
That is an excerpt from a story on the Drudgereport this morning about the unseasonably warm weather. Which one of you midwest guys was it?

IIRC they called for a mild winter here in the chicago burbs and so far they are very accurate.

It's 61 degrees in the Boston area right now. I'm ready to get my boat out of storage today. I had a dream last night that I in fact got my boat out of storage and was boating in January. Tim B was out on the lake in his boat too. Then I woke up. Seriously, a wet suit and towels, and we're good to go! See you tonight, Brad and Tim!

I hear ya Ken- If we didn't draw the lake down 3.5 feet for the winter, then we would definitely drop the boat in tonight!
Headed up north tonight, gonna do some spring snow skiing in Jan.
Have a great weekend everyone

Could have used the water skis on the mountain this past w/e. It was a solid 60 degrees in VT on Saturday. there were puddles on the ski trails- very bad. damn jet stream.
Maybe I should get the Grey Ghost out of storage?
