Let me start by saying thanks to MaddMarxx (Mark) for the Total Score prize (see win a new boat), and congrats to the Gator fans! It was a fun way to generate more camarderie here at CCF.
When I talked with Mark and Lisa (blondiegirl) I asked him if he just wanted to use it as another prize for the Super Bowl or some other type of interest. He agreed it would be cool to use it as a CCF thing.
For Marks generousity I decided to donate the boat to CCF. If there is any interest we will let you decide by a CCF vote what to do.
Here are a few ideas to start with, but feel free to give yours;
1- Raffle the boat, say $5 and donate to the site, winner gets the boat...
2- Send it from one member to another and everybody take a picture with their boat post it and send it to the next, maybe raffle it off at Greenlake....
It's your boat CCF have some winter fun with it... d

Very cool idea. See how many lakes around the country from Maine to Florida to CA the little boat can cover. Post all the pics and a map that shows its journey.

Duffnit,
This a great gesture, and congrats once again.. I guess you'll have to get ahold of Keith and let him decide what is appropriate. We could certainly use it as part of our raffle/contest prizes up in Green Lake this year.
Thanks again for keeping the fun alive for someone (hopefully a kid attending a reunion)..

Thanks Mark for getting it started and Duffnit for keepin it going, great idea!
Get some CCFan stickers on it, start sending it around and we could all sign the underside hull w/our screen names and get photo's, let the Journey conclude on GL in a raffle.

Flat Stanley is a school project for kids, they send a paper doll, "Stanley", to friends/relatives away from home, Stanley is taken on adventures and is mailed back along with photo's, story, etc. for the kids to share in cla$$. My Daughters cla$$ (2nd Grade) did it this fall.
Next year were sending him you're way Chris, that would make for some great 3rd grade reading!!

I was thinking more along the lines of getting the boat in some pics with the likes of Paul's a$$istants, but real estate is cool too.

Good call quinner... Flat Stanley is what made me think about it.
Let's see if we can generate some interest. In the meantime I'll contact Keith. d

Christmas a year ago, a baby Jesus was stolen out of a manger scene. Of course everyone was all upset. This Christmas, the same baby Jesus reappeared with a photo album of him in all the places he had been to for vacations through the year. Kind of a cute prank except for the stealing baby Jesus part.

Stealing the baby Jesus wouldn't have been so bad after Christmas, but stealing someone's dog?
Great idea duffnit. Some buddies from college did a similar thing with "wheelchair homey". A little gangster in a wheelchair that someone got out of a vending machine. Well, wheelchair homey has been around the world and back with pictures to document his travels.

Hollywood: Ditto on the a$$istants idea. Way better looking at them than some real estate.

Neat idea fellas- not sure how this flat stanley thing works- but there should be a condition stating it cannot be shipped in the mail- it has to be pa$$ed from one member to another, not shipped.
Is that little boat radio controlled? yeah- I'd like to drive it around a bit, sure.

Great Idea Duffnit! I think Barracuda has a good angle on it too, but we may have to make an exception for any of our friends overseas. Wouldn't it be neat if it traveled to the UK, Australia , etc.

duff..quinner..Your ideas are great, this can be real cool, put our screen names on the photo paper, put 5 bucks in the envelope that says (thank you Keith) on it, snap some pics, something like the ones im about to post now, put it all back in the box and send on to the next person and place. so the next stop is to duffnit in South carolina..
duff..if you can add the map on your stop that would be cool..thanks.
