The front snap was missing, causing the pack to move forward up against the front cover, the metal went throughout including in the pump causing cavitation. the extra clearance allows the pump to airiate the oil and the pressure pushes that seal out. replaced the pump, front cover, and forward cylinder and its good to go, Its on its way to Idaho
I didnt know there was water in idaho, learned something new. thanks again, eric

I have seen some really nice lakes. Just can only ski on them a few months out of the summer. Glad you could put it to good use.
