So my boat is in need of a new steering wheel. Do I have to order one from Nautique or can i just get any steering wheel as a replacement?

All helms and wheels are made with a 3/4" standard taper so you do not need to go to the OEM or the manufacturer of the boat.

Wakeboardin2k4,
Do you happen to have the center cap from the original wheel that came your boat (that says Correct Craft)? If so, I'd love to buy it off you.

Keith,
I would be willing to part with the cap off of my steering wheel.
mailto:wakeboardin2k4@yahoo.com - Email me to work out the details and such. Also I can email you a picture.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree. I might say "most" helms have a standard taper. But, the tilt helms use a splined shaft and thus need a splined steering wheel. CC dealer is the best bet for the splined steering wheel as the after market splinned wheels are few.

Well my boat is a 86 Nautique without a tilt helm so I should be ok with a normal wheel
