JR VIC, stick with dexron mercon, they put these trannies on test stands when designed and run them for days at full load.
they use to run sae 20 in them but switched everything to ATF. stick with a good qaulity ATF
awesomedawson, keep the borg warner in the boat, thats why you bought that pcm for $100.00..... it probably needs $800.00 in parts to rebuild it, chances are that the forward drum is cracked at the seal ring area. You would be replacing a Clydesdale with a party pony if you decided to do that
