Some use a nut with a nylon ring that actually locks the nut onto the shaft. Some have the old castle nut that require a cotter pin to lock the nut in place. You can get parts at SKIDIM. As regular steel one will rust. Know some that had the prop fall off because they didn't use a stainless cotter. -------------
