Doug, is the helm leaking or is it the cyl.
I don't see any parts nor listing for the Morse hyd. steering,Sea star, made by Teleflex /Morse,also Baystar, same Co.
You may have to replace the unit.......boat dr

Doug, If it's just a bad seal, then it may be located through a industrial power transmission supply. If it's a shaft or cylinder, it's probably a standard off the shelf seal and should have a # printed on it. However, a bad seal may be caused by internal wear so go by what the boat dr. says and look into it farther.

It's the helm seal (the one that pops out), I took the seal to the local marine dist. and nothing he had matched up.

Doug, Look in your yellow pages under power tranmission to see whats close to you. This is not the transmision in you car catagory!! It's sprockets, gears, bearings, motors, drive belts, etc. and of coarse seals. Keep in mind that there may be internal wear in the helm that caused the seal to fail. Good luck.
