Brice, I have it boxed up ready to ship.
Just bought a new 4160/600cfm from Summit, was not going to fight reworking an older one,So just bit the bullet.
This was a perfect carb, before the 331 stroker,am running out of breath, too small.
Hi Teks will only worsten the problem.
For a stock or slightly modified motor this is all you need.Carb has 25 hrs. total, comes w/ fuel fitting.Give me a call 1-318-386-2825..........boat dr

boat dr, it was raining yesterday so she's still under the cover. If it's not raining when I get home tonight I'll try to get some photos but it might be tomorrow or Saturday (at the latest). Is that okay?

Thanks,
Brice

Doc,
I was just about to post for one of these.
I was hoping to get a rebuilt one for around $150 or a core for $50.

Here is the deal: I can't get my 380 cfm to work perfectly and I am wondering if a 450 CFM would work better. Its a stock 327.

I'd pay your asking price if you would be willing to let me return it if it does not work out. (I'll cover shipping both ways and paypal fees if I do return it). Otherwise, since I'm a newbie and stranger to you, if you bring it to GL, we can try it and see how she goes.

What do you think?

Raindog, that puppy will hunt, but that is not the time to be exchanging engine parts.
The carb is a 450cfm which was what a stock 302 will flow at 4750 rpm's.That GM 327 will flow about the same, nothing wrong just too small for the 331 stroker, which ran strong up till 5000.At that time she ran out of air.
As far as Green Lake the last thing I want to do is work on a boat, this will be mine and Karens Vacation Week GET AWAY.
If there are mechanical issues I will refund your money, if you dont like anything else you bought yourself a new carb for 300.00 bucks.Holley don't do that with their off the shelf stuff for 469.88..........let me know

Since I don't know if the new carb is the solution to my problem, I can't take a chance for $300, even though it is a fair price. I'll keep working on the carb I have.

BTW, I didn't expect you to touch a wrench at GL. Since we would be in the same place, I thought I could try it and you could keep an eye on it.

Raindog, don't know about a 327 but a 380cfm sounds awfully small for that cubic inch motor. Did that come stock?
What are the problems you are having with the carb now, we still may work something out...........boat dr
