How much tranny fluid should I add to my PCM 1:1, Model 40 transmission? I pumped it all out and added 1/2 a quart and the dipstick shows it is full past the mark. Seems I should be able to add more. What is the capacity for this tranny? I looked through the manual and can't find anything.

I am sure Eric will know as soon as he see this. But did you rotate the trany at all to allow the fluid to go all the places it needs to go cooler and such. I want to say some one said almost two quarts. I could be worng though.

Eric, I only added 1/2 quart and it says it is full. I guess I will just take some with me the first time I head out and check it again after running it. I started it up today in the driveway. I wanted to see if the Distributer cap I got from DIM would work and test out my temp. gauge. The second cap I got and the damn roter keeps breaking. I put the old (original) one back on and it started right up. The roter just breaks at the bottom.

Ryan came by my place last week. We were going to pull the prop, but he thought it looked good enough for now. I would still like to come by someday and have you look at the strut bearing. It has just a little bit of play in it. If it needs replaced I will pay you to do it. Not something I want to do myself...
