It must be spring and the boats are making it out of winter storage in some parts of the country. I have noticed that there seems to be a increase of problems due to poor winterizing or lack of lately. Is it always like this in the forums this time of year?
1. water in cylinders
2. water in oil
3. cracked exhaust manifolds
4. blown freeze plugs
5. overheating - "you mean there were rubber blades on that thing and they pump water?"
6. overheating - must be the broken blades from the impeller stuck someplace.
7. No split oil coolers. Yet!!
8. busted windshields - "I never knew snow would be that heavy"

Pete,

Always a little worry when uncovering the boat for the first time of the season! You never know what you'll find under the cover....like one year, a five foot black snake!

That's why I like keeping my boat in a portable garage. I can go and check on it whenever I want. No surprises in the spring.
