I had new skins done on my 79 Ski Tique last week, and the shop seems to have put the throtle control/ shifter together wrong, as I got to the lake and the lever would not shift to the forward position. It feels like the neutral lock is not disengaging. I messed around at the lake for a while but had no luck. Can someone help?

It sounds like the put them on backwards. Throttle attached to tranny and tranny attached to throttle. Take them off and move them by hand to make sure you put them on right.

Make sure that the control is adjusted for idle with the control in the "in gear" forwad detent.
Check the reference section for the Morse control owner manual that outlines proper installation and adjustment.
