I have a viration when I accelerate and it smooths out around 32-34mph. I think it might have a bent shaft or bad prop. Any suggestions or Ideas. Thanks for your time.

Chad

Yup, likely.
Engine off, can you easily turn the shaft coupler by hand?
(Notice it was challenging to word this without becoming Hollywood's new sig.)

Chad, Have you had the boat for a while and this vibration is new? If you just got it, then you may not be used to the harmonics at certain speeds. Hull harmonics can be so bad that they do create problems but it is hard to stop them at times. It's like stopping a bell from ringing. I've heard that CC is having big time problems with towers on some boats. do check your prop, shaft, alignment and cutlass bearing.

You can check for a bent shaft by disconnecting the shaft at the coupler then carefully observe the gap between the shaft and coupler as you slowly rotate the shaft. If the gap is consistent while the shaft rotates then you may only have an alignment problem. If the thickness of the gap varies as you rotate the shaft then the shaft is suspect.
