oh no, that's definitely real, morfoot. I've seen that thing dozens of times between here & PN over the last few years I've been on the sites. Now THAT's someone that should be put on our list of people not allowed on the site...

Yeah, I've seen a few "Strrrrrrrange"boats on PN but this thing looks like it belongs on the 1st grade play ground..... Almost looks like a " Jeff Foxworthy or Larry the Cable Guy" rig. Do popsicles and lollipops come with that?

I've got a felling that he made it in his high school shop welding class! As a retired industrial arts teacher, what do you think Steve (behl)??

I'm just sitting here laughing, bewildered. That had to be some 16 year old or something. I think if he ever comes around here, we should welcome him...the way Goose was welcomed.
Glad someone else mentioned the site being down yesterday. I thought it was me.

Why the objection, Pete? Is the side graphic font incorrect for that year of boat?
That tower is appropriate. If you are trying to trellis vines over the top. "Ski Organique" perhaps.

Pete, I've seen pictures of that boat before. The tower gallery I did was for the2001, while I did post a thread titled "shameful nautiques" which featured boats similar to above at PN.
Congrats on the victory at Wisc. Rapids. It was my first state experience and witnessed some exceptional waterskiing, as well as boats.

What is even sadder is that, if I recall correctly, that is an Atom Skier. Pete would really have trouble with that one.
Remember this one? I'm not picking on anyone. I appreciate inginuity, and as long as they are having fun, good for them...but here is another unique "tower".
(Hollywood, forgive me if this is in your collection. Its been a long time since I saw that and I don't recall)

75. Small correction: That WAS a Atom Skier!
Kevin, Were you skiing at Rapids?
Steve, Yes the font was more slanted that year!

Larry, that is hilarious! These are two of the funniest pics ever! That tri-hull with the 2x4 tower is classic! If that's a girl in the passenger seat they've done better than I would have expected. I'll bet they made that out of treated lumber so it would last.

I applaud that wooden tower. That thing looks pretty nice for that boat. Somebody really spent some time designing it with board racks and everything. However cool it is, I'm not sure you'd catch me skiing behind it. It seems like a setup for a "You might be a redneck" joke.

It looks like they made that one out of an old swing-set!
Hollywood.. did you put that 540 on your boat yet?

MM, it's still in the box. I will put it on once I fix the timing. Right now I've got a federal 13x13 from 87 BFNowner on after skimming the sand bar with the MW prop behind the reeds on Saturday at GL.

Hollywood, how is that prop working for you? I hope it's atleast usable for you.

It is smooth and runs fine. Anyone else notice that the Federal 13x13 is a noisey prop? The ACME 540 and MW have been quiet, almost unnoticable but both Federals I've ran now were squeeky and loud.
