i love the old boats- 1965-1979, have 9 year old son that wants to wakeboard every minute of the day. do any of these old boats throw a decent wake or do i really need to look at the newer ones? any help appreciated...

I've got an 85 Barefoot Nautique that throws off a nice wake. The wake is a little loose at the top but she sure is big and steep. It's no Air Nautique, but it's also no 50 large.
