Anyone interested in trading their standard SN 196 pylon (yr 1999-2001) for the factory extended pylon? I have no use for my ext pylon as we just slalom ski. Just let me know. Thanks!

Todd,
I'm interested. My factory standard pylon is in a '94 Sport Nautique, but I think it is the same as the SN 196 pylon. Do you have a picture of your ext pylon? This is the only pic I could find of mine:

jameski- don't quote me on this, but I think that there is a slight difference in the early-mid 90's, in that the pylon has a slight "bend" in it to accomodate the doghouse for the engine. My extended pylon is pretty much stick-straight. The only way I know this, is over on planetnautique some of the members had pointed this out.

If you are really interested, you could pull it to see. (although, it is kind of a pain--just more time than you would think.) Just let me know.

Here is a pic from a way's away, but you can at least see it.

I think you're correct. I just went down to the dock and took a look at mine. It looks like it has a very slight bend right at the floor.

I hope someone else can help.
