Nice work boys.

It is apparent in the last 4 pics, however, that Hollywood can't keep his hands off you, Quinner. Perhaps he was inspired the couple we saw when I was down a few weeks ago.

What the hell is in the water?

Who is on top in these pics?

Friend of mines son who also ski's with the Aquanut's. Hollywood did get his chance on top but it was after we lost our observer so there was no one to snap the pic's.

How does the pyramid "top" start? Do they ski up separately?

Joel, typically you dock start with a girl on your shoulders and they climb from there. In the 4 highs, there is one girl on each that starts from skis and climbs like we did. Since we were all dudes (and driving off the dock is critical), we just deep water started and he skied in the middle of us and just climbed up quinner's thigh, then kicked off a slalom and up to my shoulder. I can't stretch that far had to add in an extra step, thigh-thigh-shoulder-shoulder.

For every pyramid, you have to brace it to keep together, quinner was too much of a wimp to let go of one hand, I had no problem holding. On the larger pyramids, everyone will hold the guy next to them.

Excellent. I will definitely have to attempt this on the next family vacation.

The key is the larger skis for the bases. Look at those slabs that Quinner is riding.
It gets really cool when the two bases step off and barefoot.

Tull, We refer to those slabs as the "Clown Shoes".

Hollywood, "too much of a wimp", holy crap I cannot wait until the next time we get out and ski together cause your going down!

Skiing with these punk kids is tough business, while we were footing earlier that day during one of our triple deeps Hollywood stood before me and as soon as I stood up he about tackled me taking us both out, this was followed by his inability to climb on his first try and falling on me while trying to stand on my shoulder. This weekend I want to be on top!

Our 3 Lakes (Aqua Devils) team has been working on a slight twist on pyramids. I know it is done by other teams but I saw it at our Sunday show. It's a 2 pyramid 6 person ea. but the second pyramid is a prebuilt hot pick up. The boat pulls the first 6 man past the dock, the second rope harness is passed off to the boat and the second pyramid is pulled off the dock.

Wonder Lake does the same act but pulls two prebuilt three highs off, comes around, the docks split and the boat goes between the docks with the two pyramids and picks up (4) more three highs, hot pick up. One of the craziest acts I've seen.
I'll find the YouTube link.

Wow, looks like that would yank your arms off.   Those ropes must stretch a little to absorbe that initial take off with the boat moving like that.

But if you do it enough its probably easy to them

I always used my jumpers for pyramids doubles adagio...anything where I was carring a climber. We would start on 2 the girls on 1 and the middle guy would start with the third level girl on his shoulders. Our guys (no wimps) would hold on with 1 hand and have the other on the forearm of the guy next to them to keep correct spacing.

I know you PLBC guys really like each other but take it from me....it is lots more fun with girls.
