Anyone changed the carpet on their Ram-Lin bunks before? I definitely need to but I don't see an obvious way to remove the bunks- are there counter-sunk bolts under the carpet?

I changed mine once and if I recall correctly the screws are counter sunk. One way to find out though. If it was put together, it can be taken apart.

Oh, I'm fully planning on taking it apart, but the clock will be ticking while my boat sits somewhere else so I'm trying to get ahead of myself if I can.

Always a good idea!
Sorry I couldn't be more specific but it was years ago when I did mine including replacing the wood. I do remember looking at it and thinking "OK. what the hell am I now getting into?".

I just replaced the carpet and bunks on my Ramlin the Friday of the GL reunion. If I had to do it over again, I would not have replaced the bunks. Anyway, the bolts are countersunk under the carpet. I think they were 3" #12 self-tapping, in case any break off when you are removing them.
