Should I use a 1 piece or 2 piece seal when I fix it? Also can the replacement be done without removing the crank? Thanks for your help. An engine with two piece seals, the crank has directional lines that push oil back to the oil pan. An engine with a one piece seal, the crank is smooth and the seal has the directional lines. One piece seal, you need the marine,for reverse rotation and those I've seen are orange. ------------- Tim D
