Skidim's website shows a Mallory electronic distributor for the LH 351 engine priced at $294 and a Prestolite electronic distributor for the same engine priced at $473.41., which is about 60% more.
Why the big price difference? If you were converting from a breaker point distributor to an electronic distributor, which one would you go with and why?

Between the two I would say the mallory. Reason being personal prefference. I run a MSD, so I can not give personal experience to either of the above. I did replace my breaker point distributor it was a mallory and it was problem free. I just wanted to get ridof the points.
