Well I tripped over a couple of corpses making my way to the computer this morning so the time must be drawing near.
The house has started undergoing it's annual transformation and Dana's starting to scare me a little as she unveils new additions to her macabre collection.
Date is Saturday October 27, starting at 6pm til whenever. All CCfans and family are invited, we had a great turnout last year (About 50 people total)and hope to see all and more this year.
Kids are definately welcome and Dana puts together special stuff to keep them busy while we plan their demise. There is a sacrifical fire pit in the backyard that we haven't used much this year so we'll get that going.
Plenty of of food so come hungry and We'll have snake venom (Spiked hot cider)otherwise bring you're own booze.
The mistress of the house requests that all come dressed to KILL.

The Count
Lets see if we can add a bunch more folks this year, Probably one of the last times we'll get together until boat show season.
Email me with questions, we're also setting up a group rate for hotel rooms for out of towners. More info later.

Quick update, we're close to fifty people again this year. Decided to order a keg so just bring anything that you might want to throw on the "shot Ski" as I think there will be one around.
One last call out to any CCFAns in the area, all are welcome. Plenty of food and although we party a bit it's still a safe place for the kids so bring em along. More the merrier.
Also if anyone has good summer video bring it along and we'll throw it on the big screen later.

Here's a couple of pics from magicmans halloween party. I forgot I had these until I found them on the camera recently. The pics don't really show the detail that Alan and Dana put into it every year. A great time for all!
The pics below were taken the next morning. Obvioulsy, a lot better in the dark. The legs that were under the keg constantly kicked.
Thanks again to Alan and Dana.

Alan, Wow! You and Dana sure did put in the work on the decorations. Now that Christmas is coming up, are you working on those decorations? You'll never get the varnish on the garage doors! Sorry Diane and I weren't able to attend. It looked like a fun party.

John, I'm at work at 3am but on my way home at 1pm. It started about 10 years ago when we had a east Indian night maintenance man with extreamly poor communication skills. Day maintenance was comming in and not knowing what this night guy had done would pretty much need to start over on a problem. The head of our maintenance dept. wouldn't come in at 3am to talk with him, so I got the job! Well, we no longer have a night maintenance but the habit stuck with me. It really isn't bad because I miss any rush hour trafic and I do have my afternoons free. I do however get to bed at 7:30! I also find that I get lots done in the early mornings (including visiting my favorite web site!) because I'm not running in 10 different directions at once.

Thanks for the pics Rob, Certainly looks better at night though.
I have very little to do with decking the house out, it's all Dana, she gets obsessed with it but does a great job.
She makes sketches of these crazy things she wants and I go to work putting them together. This year we made the Giuloteen(sp), a pirates treasure chest and a backlite spiderweb headboard. Anything to keep her happy, next year I'm going to put together a tee shirt that says "Builds Props for Sex" and get an early start.
Ps. the rats in the bathroom ceiling were a no go for me, I fought it till the end but then came home from work one day and there they were.
Pete, In December we work 16 hour days and barely have time to enjoy xmas, we don't even put up a tree since were not home. Haloween is the beginning of our crazy season at work so we've adopted it as our time to have friends and family over for some fun before we get engrossed in long days at the office. Do try to make it out next year, it will only get better.

John, The article was in the Trib yesterday. I really don't work the night shift but rather the "early day shift"! Most of work is in daylight. I do appreciate your concern.
