I currently use an OJ 14 x 16 three-blade prop. Is there another prop that could reduce the rooster tail and noticeable lip on the wake? I ski 28 off at 34 mph, I would think that the wake should be almost non-existent at that length. Perhaps that vintage hull has this characteristic in the wake. I did, however, have 3 or 4 adults in the boat, so I'm certain weight contributed to the wake. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

You should probably call ACME and get their oppinion. They are very knowledgable and helpful. I recently purchased a 93 Nautique and ACME recommended their #422 prop (12.5 x 15.5, 4 blade). The original prop was a 14 x 16. As the boat is currently undergoing major reconstruction, I have not yet purchase this prop, so I have no comment on the performance/wake benefits.
I do know that ACME said the #422 will produce the best wake for skiing.

I have the blue '92 SNOB featured in the "Diary" section. I bought it last week. Pretty sure the prop is the original that came with boat. If there is an aftermarket prop that makes the wake disappear, I'm all ears. Check out the wake in the diary pictures. It could use some flattening. In the meantime, I'll verify what prop is on the boat.
