If I remove the foam from the hull of my '67 Mustang, should it be replaced, and if so, what should it be replaced with? Can the foam that's in there be dried out in any way? If it is replaced does it have to be sprayed in? Thanks alot for any information!

I'm also in the process of ripping out the old foam. Im replacing mine with CLOSED cell foam that you mix from 2 parts.

You do not HAVE to replace the foam. Just keep the following in mind:
1. The boat can sink without it.
2. If the foam supported a fiberglass floor, you will need to install a plywood floor (glassed over). I have no idea how the original floor of a 67 Mustang was originally installed.
As ColinC suggested, 2 part foam is the way to go. You will have to come up with a clever way to "screed" or cut the foam flush with the bottom side of the floor. The 2 part foam is available is several different densities depending on what you want it to do (i.e. floatation or structural support or somewhere in between).

BS ! closed cell flotation foam only.anything else will hold h2o like a sponge,add weight & rotout the stringer system.

I am not sure I understand your comment. I said nothing about open cell foam and agree that only closed cell should be used.

I finished foaming my Mustang this summer. US Composites had the best price that I could find. 5gal. part (a) and 5gal. part (b) was the perfect amount to finish the project with some left over. www.shopmaninc.com for the foam.
