I am looking for the Plastic "Correct Craft" emblem that is on both sides of the boat for a 1977 Ski Tique. I would also be interested in in one of teh step plates that is ont eh side. I am missing one of the wood slats.

Steve,

If the step pad is in good shape otherwise, I can make you a set of slats for both side (so they match). Only thing is they will be Ipe, not teak. I have plenty of Ipe scrap left over from building a few platforms, no problem.

Steve, The plastic tag can be purchased from White lake marine. I'll see if I can get a link and post it. They are molded in a black plastic. To finish them, you will need to spray paint (use one of the new spray cans of paint for plastic) them white. Then you will need to hard block wet sand the top of the lettering so that the black plastic shows. You will end up with black letters with white sides just like original.

I will try to get some pictures for you. My girlfriend bought the boat, it was purchased original from her father, so it has a lot of family history, I just want to do what I can to help her keep it looking great.

Both of the step pads are in good shape, one of the slats is missing. I wasnt sure if it was possible to replace the slats or if the step plate would need to be replaced.

I'll make you some slats - where are you located?

email your address, mwalsh@hanleywood.com I'll get them out to you, but you've got to post some pics first, lol.
