So, the wife and I are driving home from dinner with the 2 mo old in the back seat in a car seat the other night. Sure enough, my wife is driving the speed limit and some a-hole in a Dodge Ram diesel pickup is right on our a$$. Apparently he's not happy with our speed as he starts flashing his brights and swerving about. We hold the steady speed limit speed and continue on. He follows us about 20 miles through 5 towns. Finally as we near the house, we swerve as if we're going to turn left, then quickly turn right and blast on home. We "shook" him. Wife driving, 2mo old in the back- I grabbed for the door handle on several red lights to walk out and have a chat with the guy (read: mag light through his windshield is what I had in mind) but the wife wouldn't have it- imagine if something happened to the kid... it was like being bound and gagged- I couldn't do anything. I've had far more exciting car chases as a teen but with an infant in the back this was totally uncalled for! WTF is with these people?

Some people are just morons, why did't he just pass you? I would imagine that through 5 towns there was atleast one passing lane. My wife doesn't allow me to have conversations with these types of people while she is in the car either.

Were you in a M3? Your options are endless if so.
You could have easily done a Chinese fire drill around his truck and still schooled him down the road. I could have done it in my 540.
Oh yeah. Wife and kids in car, aka sense and sensibility. You made the right call.

Oh, yeah. All of this would have been avoided if you simply put the 'Baby on Board' yellow warning sign in the back of your vehicle.
See, it is your fault after all....
