I went to look at a Mustang today, the owner wasn't home, I never did meet him so I have no connection to him whatsoever. The boat was not what I was looking for, but I thought I would post this in case someone is looking for a Mustang project. It is an older model, unsure of the year, it has a throttle pedal, no molded scoop on the forward deck, just 2 small chrome scoops, gauges (mis matched) straight across the dash. Ford straight 6, terrible seats, painted hull & deck (not well done) factory engine cover, loose pylon, the hull under the prop was gouged and there were some metal plates sandwhiching the hull at the strut so I think it probably hit something and the yanked the strut allowing the prop to gouge the hull. The windshield is a modern one, but looks good on the boat. Floor shifter. It is on a trailer.
It was in a local paper, the boat is in Midland Michigan, is listed for $2100, and the phone number is 989 860-0075. This is just a synopsis from memory. It seemed like quite a project. The floor was plywood, I could see into the gaps here and there under the where the motor cover lays and it looked like the foam was removed. It had carpeted floor and inside walls.
