Just bought me a 69 barracuda tonight!!!! Yes...I will be doing a complete restoration. The floors are going this weekend so i can dry this baby out. A few hull nicks and one smal but deep gash... and i guess start pulling the foam.. I will no doubt be bugging all you guru's when i run in to a wall. Look forward to turning this into one mac daddy ride...My kids are stoked ....... ------------- Mac daddy... |

Hey, Congrats on your purchase!! Geez, no one bothered to reply back to you since you posted this? There just jealous. Well. me too! I am always on the hunt for a '69 'cuda. I own a '68 Skylark(see diaries) and I love it but she needs a playmate! I have always favored the Barracuda over any other boat. When the time and $$ are available I hope to scoop one up.
When you get the chance to tell me a little bit about yours--what did you pay? In how bad of shape was it in? What color is it? Engine?--I'd really appreciate it. Do you plan on keeping it in original condition or have it modernized? Again, best of luck and fun with it, Robert S. |
