I am going to be in Skokie this week.

I have the evenings open the 7th and 8th.

Would be great if we could get together for some beers and munchies as we have in the past. Last time we met at a dive bar in Niles. I can't remember the place before that.

Any takers? Any suggestions where we should meet up? I'm buying!

Man if you are buying, I wish I was going.

I have seen Johnny and HW demo a keg at Reid's. You sure you wanna buy?

How cool to be able to get together with your bud's from across the country for a few cold ones.

Brian, I'd love to see you but I've got this problem. I'm at work at 3am and that puts my bed time at 7pm!! I think it is the reverse of your hours!!

Cook county court house? I'm just guessing since you mentioned you practice law of some kind and said Skokie.

It's been along time since I've run around to the "dive" bars so I'm not much help with the name of the place in Niles.

Pete, I got out of the law business 15 years ago. I've been in the computer business since. My company is headquartered in Skokie, and I'm heading back to meet with a bunch of the Corporate Executives next week.

I figured your were in pretty early. I've been on the site at 1 or 2 am PST and have seen your posts.

Perhaps next time I head back I can stay over a weekend and you and I can knock back a couple of cold ones. BKH

Morrison's road house! Well I've never been there but it does sound interesting! A "dive"? you're probably correct. At least on your way home you can stop at White Castle for some sliders. It's a couple blocks north. Why do you guys want to go there? Do they have women who remove part or all of their clothing?

Steve, if that was on stage then I will say the waitress was bringing us some awesome drinks!

I'd be glad to do either day.

Pete, the location was chosen for a prior gathering because Brian was staying up the road on Touhy, I work at Howard and Caldwell, the PLBC boys live in Niles, etc etc.. Mainly to stay close to where Brian was staying..

Far from a typical dive bar, and yes the waitress's are usually scaintally dressed, but last time they were far from it.. If someone has a different suggestion????

Dave, I wasn't really suggesting any other place. I was just wondering why it was chosen. Thank's for filling me in. I do know that the PLBC guys are from around that area so I'm sure Morrison's has been well attended. I'm sorry I can't join in!

Sounds like Thursday the 8th will work best.
Morrison's and Glenview House were each a good time. Either would be great. If someone has a new joint, that's great as well. I have a car this time so I won't be forced to impose on Hollywood's limo service. BKH

Pete, in the past, we've met right after work.
5:30, 6, something like that. Some folks have popped in for an hour, some folks have shut the bar down. BKH

Sounds like Glenview House is the plan.

That location brings Pete in, and is close to the train for Quinner and others. Besides, last time we were there, we had a great turnout, and the pizza was pretty good as well. Hope it's not too inconvenient for you Mojo.

Kurt, very cool you'll be able to make. Missed catching up at Green Lake.

This Thursday, November 8. I should be there about 5:30 or 6. BKH

6 hours calculated on the senior citizen clock, divided by your memory loss, and factor in the beer consumption when you arrive, the next day John you would of never known you were gone

I'm sorry I mised it. I've been away from the computer for a couple of days and am just sitting here now catching up. That was a great time last year, I wish I'd have caught up with you all this year. Who all made it? Take care and enjoy your visit.
