Our ACBS Blackhawk chapter has now joined forces and is endorsing the Muscatine boat show. This means the show with have lots more boats and plenty of wood. It is being held on May 16th through the 18th so I'm inviting anyone who can make it.

Chuck,
Pam and I are planning to help Dave with the show again this year. Last year they had almost 130 boats!

FYI... I talked with Dave Moritz, the show co-ordinater,and wanted to bring everyone up to date on show qualifications. The show is geared towards antique, classic, and race boats. For the most part, boats must be at least 30 years old, unless approved by the board. (Alan's 81 was welcomed with no problems)

Last year , we only had two Correct Crafts and would love to see more this year..

Heres a link to the

Good Afternoon Everybody,

I am Dave Moritz and I wanted to let you know that we would love to invite you to the event. It is a tough call to set a cut-off for boats but we have to. My wife and I have both wood and classic fiberglass boats so we are open to the older Correct Crafts and love the stylings. Also good friends of ours(64 American Skier)own a couple of classic Correct Crafts that they will be bringing so we challenge you to come on board. The setting is really nice and we just have a good time with no politics involved.

If you have any questions feel free to send me an e-mail at moritzdavid@stanleygroup.com

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dave
