I just purchased a 1968 Barracuda. I was curious as to what prop was standard and if anyone has any recommendations for a modern replacement(used mostly for slolom sking). I am also looking for a good restorable used or nos steering wheel and stock horn. The boat has a 318 Chrysler(215 hp). Thanks

I had a 66. A 13X13 1" was recommended to me by the dealer. I used an OJ and was very happy with it. At sea level it just about ripped your arms off in a deep water start At Lake Tahoe it was still good and had a WOT top speed of 48+

Thanks for the info. Do you remember any specific problems you encountered with your Barracuda or the 318 Chrysler? Any potential problem areas I should look out for? Thanks again, Jim/Barr68
