Hi,
I am a new member. I have a 1971 Mustang Correct Craft. I need to have the Teleflex speedometer replaced. Where can I go about finding this?

Newbie Boat Owner

thanks in advance

Maricruz,
Unfortunately you won't find new replacement ones unless you happen upon some new old stock (NOS)ones somewhere. Keep checking ebay for "vintage" or "teleflex" or "old marine" or whatever gauges and you're liable to stumble on some. Possibly you can find the next newest vintage which looked similar to yours with the chrome bezels but with a slightly different but still black face and which do look good and authentic. I've found them to be more common, and which were used in the mid-late 70s. Going this route you end up replacing the whole set, but that's typically only about $200, and only a purist would know that they're not original.

I bought 3 or 4 sets of this later vintage from this company http://http://www.marine-sales.com/contact.html - http://www.marine-sales.com/contact.html up near Detroit. It's a really neat place to visit, or at least it was 5+/- years ago when I was there. Call and ask for Annette.
