Picked up another Tollycraft woodie last week. It is a 1957 "Rumpas". I know, its an outboard plywood boat, but should be a fun one to develop "skills" on during the restoration. It is in really great shape and came with the original cloud white Merc motor as well.

Brian, Nice project but I'm glad you are doing it. I know how hard it is (no John) to get paint off of the wood to bright finish it. Making it harder is the plywood without any room for sanding. It's stripper all the way and then just a very light sanding. My wife is not all that thrilled with the whole boat collection to start with. Now if she finds out there are strippers involved, I may be shut down!
I am going to do some test areas on the interior with stripper and see how it goes. The interior may end up painted with some bright trim and accents. The exterior is in really great shape and will be re-stained and varnished with a paint accent (just like the original). My Dad and I are researching the boat now to try and figure out what the interior finish was from the factory. The deck skin is going to be replaced as it already has several areas that have sanded through the veneers as well as some big oil stains that would never stain or varnish. The best part of the boat was a box with ALL the original hardware that is in excellent shape. 
On a more Correct Craft related subject, my 1960 Atom Skier restoration plans are coming together. I met with a friend from ACBS here in Seattle who has done many world class restorations and decided to have him tackle the wood part of the project. I am going to take care of all the systems restoration. The only bad news in the whole thing is that he is booked up until this time next winter before he can start (either means he is really good, or there are alot of fools like me out there!) mmm.. thats a B E A utilful Riva that guy restored. Probably #1 in the list of classic boats i'd love to get/restore is a Riva Aquarama (I know it's an Ariston in there, but still...a Riva), only need to save up another $100,000+K...
