The Video section has a new release from Johnny Desmond and the PLBC boys, "Learning to Foot". It's over eight minutes of hardcore falls and faceplants.

Enjoy!

Great video.
I was born a slalom skier, I was raised a slalom skier, but I wish I were a barefooter.

Are you sure it's not "Learning to Fall."

Great compilation Johnny, good work guys, I enjoyed that. I had never seen a dolphin start until running across this video a month or so ago. He does it at about 2:04 and 3:25. More to add to this summers to do list, I guess. I think I will put off the jumping off the boat into the bacerds position until next year though.

"Couse if ya try it...better have the video going for the rest of us!

Lake Michigan is free of ice, seriously taking a look at the conditions out there. If not this year, probably next year expect some nice face plants with the downtown skyline in the background.

Then this is your year to learn Bruce. Did you end up getting a BF boom last summer? Your boys were pretty excited that day at the reunion when they tried barefooting. I thought to myself- uh oh, this is going to cost Bruce a pretty penny in all new BF equipment

Until last night, I had no snow in my yard

Brad, we haven't got a boom yet. Thomas really liked barefooting and would like to get a boom and a suit. David liked it and would go for it too, but he was really bitten by the slalom bug and wants a course. We'll see what's in this years budget as summer approaches. David's is 17, so he's talking about getting a course whether it's in my budget or not.
It was great that they were able to try footing and the course for the 1st time. They're still talking about it and looking forward to this year's reunion.
As far as me trying, we'll see how my spring conditioning goes.

We'll have to make one showing us actually barefooting and not just faceplanting non-stop for 8 minutes. I watch this video probably once a day. Thanks for makin it JJ.

You mean you guys can actually barefoot? I thought the PLBC was just about dressing snazzy and taking diggers.

Much to learn you young grasshopper.
You forget such PLBC constants such as;
Beer
Breasts
Drinking games
Costume skiing
Kneeboarding
Baggo
Real barefooting
Beating the pontoon past its threshold
and others....
