I bought this boat new in 1988 after owning a 1978 Ski Tique for 10 years. I have over 1300 hours on it and have never had any major problems with it. The only item that has been replaced, other that the usual tune up and lube, is the raw water pump. I think it just plain wore it out. I have been running synthetic oil in it for many years. Looking inside the oil fill, it still looks like brand new. The boat is always kept in the garage or on a covered boat lift. I never let it set overnight in the water. I plan on keeping this boat forever.
Our family skis on the Auglaize River in Defiance, OH. We have hosted along with the now disbanded Auglaize River Water Ski Club, several three event water ski tournaments along with a couple barefoot nationals in our back yard. That was years ago but very fun times.
