I purchased this boat back in March of 2001 from an old roommate who bought it from a guy in Alabama who got it straight from the dealer. The first owner was told that this boat was an official tow boat of the 1988 Masters Water Ski tournament at Callaway Gardens. I believed this story to be true due to the unique CC sticker that is behind the stern seatback cushion and started efforts to verify this. After contacting Art Cozier @ HQ he found the original build sheet on this boat and he informed me that Master’s was written across the bottom. I then contacted Andy Mapple who Won the slalom event at the Masters in 1988 to see if he had any pictures from that tournament. He told me that he hadn’t but distinctly remembers being pulled by a RED boat.

I had the honor of representing CCFan at the 51st Masters from the 80’s decade at the request of Correct Craft as they wanted boat from each decade of the SN as the new SN 200 was unveiled. Where else would you find them except here. ’Miss Scarlett’ made the trip back to Callaway Gardens one more time and now bears Andy Mapples’ signature across her stern as she pulled Andy to victory back in 1988.

Upgrades include are a refurbished trailer, a boat winch, wheel well close outs, removeable swim platform, CD/stereo system with aux inputs, custom made rear and front speaker boxes, digital depth finder, electronic ignition, sound proofing of the engine and exhaust compartments, bimini top that attaches to rubrail instead of the gelcoat, custom made carbon fiber glovebox lid bearing Ralph Meloons signature, and a custom made gearshift knob w/CC globe inlay.

The interior is all original and has been very well kept for a boat that is 23 years old and still turns the heads of fellow boat enthusiasts. ’Miss Scarlett’ is kept in the garage at my home and hardly ever is in the water over night.
