We rescued this boat from a dealership in Pueblo, Colorado in 2000. After a year of sitting on the lot the dealer reupholstered the seats and replaced the carpet (over the top of a soggy floor). When they wanted to go skiing, the employees at the dealership took her out. The first year we had a number of mechanical problems but now she is running great.

We replaced the aging dash and gauges with a 2003 dash and Faria gauges. (All of you purists are cringing, sorry). I removed all of the water logged wood from the seats. I replaced it with fiberglass laminated wood. Instead of taking out the back seat to ski, I carpeted a blank seat bottom and it works great.

This winter I am replacing the soggy stringers and floor. Other improvements will be Perfect Pass Digital Pro with the switch, an ACME 540 prop, and a total refinish. I’ll update the post when it is done. The purists will hate me, but there are some other performance and function changes coming as well.

Ski well.
