We bought our 1986 Ski Nautique in the spring of 1987 after it had ben used by Sea World for their ski shows in 86 at the Cleveland Ohio location.

I always liked the reverse color scheme with the ebony and ivory colors.

It was such a delight to drive and the power was amazing with the 454 big block engine. Top speed was 48 mph and with seven barefoters on two booms the speed went down to 34 mph. We could pull four barefooters long line no problem. We did a variety of skiing and my wife Maureen was always intimidated by the large wake produced by the extra weight from the large engine but we all survived and Wake boarding and tricking with the big wake was great.

In the ten years that we owned this boat, we had more enjoyment than can be expressed in words and we will always miss our 86 2001 Nautique.
