Hi everyone!

I just bought this 1962 Correct Craft Classic from the third owner through this site. The boat is in good condition, is mostly original and has been properly looked after.

The boat started out on Buffalo Lake in Montello, WI. Around 1985, the original owner passed away and the local ski club bought the boat. They rebuilt the motor and painted the boat with Imron in its original colors.

In 1991, the ski club disbanded and one of the members, Bill Strozinski purchased the boat. He used it as a family pleasure craft until 1997 when they needed a larger boat. It was stored indoors, summerized and winterized every year, but not actually used in water. He decided it needed to be used and put it up for sale recently.

I found the boat when looking for an inboard to replace the 1957 Chris Craft Sportsman that my family had. I always loved Ski Natutiques and after learning about the older Correct Crafts, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for.

Update 8-21-08
Since buying the boat in April of 07, I have done many improvements like new floors and interior. The boat is now safe and reliable and we get out and use it as much as possible. If it was not for the generous help of the great folks on this site, I doubt I'd would have been able to get it to this point.
