This is one of my favorite boats that I own. I got it around 1994. I had just sold my 1984 Master Craft Stars and Stripes and had been looking for an 88’ Nautique. I was contacted by the owner of this boat because he had seen an ad I had up in the local Overton’s store. It was garage kept on Lake Murray in Columbia S.C. with only over 100 hrs, I did not even have to think twice.
I brought it home that day and have had it ever since. It has always been garage kept or hanging in my Boat House on Lake Wylie. It was used in my wedding on Lake Wylie as Groom and Groomsmen transport to the wedding and the getaway craft for my wife and I after the party.
It is all original with about 640 hrs on the meter. My wife says that she will not let me ever sell that one !!!! She loves driving it and skiing and wakeboarding behind it. It to me is the best 2001 because it was the last year for the dual exhaust.
